Dear Ness, Kevin and Family,
Poppy is quickly approaching her 6 month birthday and 4 months being at home with us. We wanted to write and tell you what a delightful time we have had seeing her grow, learning about us, learning about her and watching her mature in to a highly intelligent and beautiful little dog. We have been going to dog training classes and I have been amazed by her progress from week to week. She walks to heel, sits on command and comes back when we call her in the park. Amazing what a tiny piece of chicken can do for you!!
Most of all we wanted to thank you all so much for the experience you have given us and shared with us in raising poppy in the early days and the effort you made to involve us. We really fell on our feet when we came across your website and from the moment we first spoke on the phone we had an amazing warm feeling about how things would turn out.
We have attached a few of our favourite photos for you and we would be delighted if you wished to use them on your website. We have taken over 1000 photos of her so it took a while to choose our favourite few.
I am not sure when you are having another litter, but we would both like to say that we are more than happy to endorse you and your dogs to anyone that may want to hear a personal story from someone that has been through the process with you. We literally could not recommend you any higher and feel free to put my email address about to anyone that would like to hear from us.
Having Poppy in our life has really been the best thing we have ever done together and we hope we are able to make her as happy as she makes us. Thank you for everything you have done and we hope to stay in touch throughout Poppy’s life.
We would like to visit before Christmas if you might be free? Hope to hear from you soon.
The warmest regards,
David and Lindsay

"Guinness is absolutely fantastic he had brought so much to all of out lives and is very loved, he also has lots of fans who he meets on his walks. He adores the beach and is extremely well behaved, especially since I have been pregnant, he has been very protective. He has traveled to Ireland twice this summer and adapts really well to the new surroundings. I don't know if you remember me telling you about my daughters epilepsy, but he has been an enormous help with this. Without any formal training he has alerted us to her having fits and always comforts and stays with her following these. I think he is looking forward to the new baby due in 2 weeks and has kept me fit. Good luck with Olive I am sure that if she's like Guinness she'll be great. Thanks again for the pictures and keeping in touch. I would have sent more pictures but i'm not that great with computers. Best wishes Angela, Simon, Guinness and Children"
"Hi Ness
Thanks for the pictures of Paddy.
He has finished his puppy classes and now waiting to start his KC Bronze Award when Sue has enough dogs to do it.
At the moment Paddy is having a mad five minutes to welcome us all home as I've just finished at work.
Paddy Choo has really made an impact on us all and we love him to bits. Jr and the girls get a bit jelous sometimes as Paddy does get most of the attention. I just cant resist his big soppy eyes and he gives the best cuddles ever!! I made the mistake of letting him come on the sofa when we first had him and now he still thinks he can come up - all 30 kilo's of him!!
Im so glad I saw your advert as I cant imagine our house without Paddy.
I've attached some up to date photos of Paddy for you - hope you like them.
If your ever passing Morda please call in as Paddy loves having people to fuss over him and i'm sure you'd love a cuddle off Paddy Choo!!

Dear Ness
Well, i finally find time to put pen to paper as it were, and write this letter to you.
Myself and Ian want to express out sincere thanks and gratutude to you, for ALL your help and kindness to us since we first came into contact when i was looking to buy a puppy.
It was coincidence that i was put on to you, but i believe whole heartedly that you were definately meant to be who we got our puppy from, because everything fell into place so nicely and we seemed to gel right from the start.
I looked at a lot of breeders, but it was you that stood out, your response to my email said it all for me, when i asked what we would come with buying our puppy and in your reply, the closing comment of 'a lifetime support from Swanness Labradors' was what made all the difference to me, that said it all!
You have been so helpful and so keen to answer any of my questions without making me feel like they were silly or unneccesary. Not having had a dog in such a long time, it was all a whole new experience for me, so your help and support throughout has been invaluable!
When we came to meet you, i felt like we were old friends, you were so welcoming to us all. I thought it was important that you vetted us too, that showed me you care very much who your puppies were going to as well as which puppy was right for us. It was lovely that you never minded me asking anything as often as i did, and the fact that you kept us updated on our little puppy every week was wonderful, i have all the photos you sent saved in a folder, i intend to compile them in a scrap book for corey, so its lovely that i have photos from his very early days to include. In particular, we are also really happy that you gave us the opportunity to have the name we chose for him included in his kennel club name. It makes it feel all the more personalised to us and we feel that was such a lovely gesture.
You have a wonderful set up for all of your dogs, particularly the puppies, its clear they are all very happy and very well loved and cared for by you all. Both Ian and myself have commented many times that Woody is such a lovely calm and well behaved little chap. Even on the very first night he came to live with us, he didnt cry at all, we did as you said, put him to bed in his cage, turned off the light and said goodnight to him and that was it till morning!!! Wow, how well behaved is that!! I know that it was down to your care and attention whilst he was with you, your routine and training with him made him such a pleasure to have, he has been so quick to learn, is very good with our little boy and the other children too. Hes made our home even happier than it already was. Everyone loves Woody so much, even my eldest daughter who has a real fear of dogs, has taken to him beautifully, im sure he senses her fear and is receptive to that so is very gentle with her, its lovely.
I honestly cannot praise you enough Ness, the whole encounter has been truly a pleasure and i am so thankful that we came to hear of you. I feel that i have a life long friend in you and very definately feel that Woody was, from the moment we arrived, meant to be ours. Do you remember how he was the only one who came for a fuss and snuggled up so tight when i picked him up? Bless him, he still adores his cuddles now! He has such a lovely temperament, which is exactly what we wanted having a little one around. Already they are forming a lovely bond, Woody follows Corey around all over the place and just loves to play with him. Hes very gently and is very tollerant and accepting of Coreys playful ways. They are the perfect combination, but then again, your help and advise towards chosing our puppy helped greatly in that too.
If ever we considered having another dog, we would without doubt come to you again. I would highly recommend you to anyone as the perfect breeder of perfect labradors.
It only leaves me to say thankyou Ness, from the bottom of my heart, we have the perfect puppy in Woody, like you said, he sure has a huge personality and thats what makes him the adorable little fella that he is. Bless you for everything, i wish you every sucess for the future, long may you continue to produce such wonderful animals. People will be more than happy chosing their puppy from you, first class care and attention all round!
Again, many many thanks,
Best wishes, fondest regards
Theresa and Ian xxx

Hi Ness and The Swanness Pack!!
It was so nice to bring the boys back to see you at the weekend. I think its beautiful to see my boys go home and that they remember their 'Mummy Ness' and thoroughly enjoy their time running around in your field. It just shows how happy they are when they go to your kennels as if they are not just visiting but coming to you for their holidays again!! I know I can always bring my boys to you as they are loved and cared for like nowhere else.
I cannot thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to have not one but two very special Swanness boys in my life. Paddy and Oliver are without doubt the most handsome labradors I've ever seen - and its not just me that thinks so, as I've lost count of the number of times out on walks people stop to comment on the boys. You should be so proud that you and your two girls Cadbury and Olive have produced such stunning pups who grow into gorgeous labs that bring their owners so much joy and happiness.
I love nothing more than my 6:30am, often even earlier than that (!!) morning alarm call off Ollie. The look on their faces when I go down to take them on walkies is priceless. My favourite times of the day are when I'm out with my boys. My life would be so boring and not have anywhere near as much love in it if I didn't have my boys to share it with. I also have to share anything I eat and the sofa with my boys but you know all about that with your 6!!
I'm just so glad Jr phoned up on that very special day four years ago as I not only got the baby boy I'd always longed for but I also got a new best friend in Paddy Choo. I feel I have now done Paddy the same favour by adding Oliver to our family as you can see from the attached photos they have truly become 'best friends' too!
Once again, thank you Ness for introducing us to the world of labradors and not just any labradors but Swanness Labs. Thank you for all the support, advice and the loving care you give as it is very much appreciated.
Looking forward to our next visit to see the 'Pack'
Love to all
Emily, Mr Paddy Choo & Ollie XXXXXX
Hi Ness
Hope you are all well, I've just took a trip down puppy lane reading our past email communications, I have laughed and cried. I still have the very first email I sent you asking if you had any puppies? Me and Glyn still discuss the early days, the first call i made to you on one sunday morning and myself suggesting we come and visit straight away and would you be home in a couple of hours, the 20 questions we got from you like do you like gardening? puppies love digging and she'll make a mess (she loved digging), I saw an email that i sent you asking you to reserve a chocolate girl as I was starting to win Glyn over for my choccie pup. Hey some things don't turn out as planned but we have no regrets and wouldn't change them for the world.
Millie was the perfect puppy and is so pretty and it was really reassuring knowing we had you at the end of the phone for support. I remember we received a call from you the morning after she came home just to check how her first night went, That goes beyond any doubt you love all the puppies you raise. It took several more months to twist Glyn's arm to have a chocolate lab for me and when he finally agreed we found Cadbury was going to be a mum again but scan showed no puppies but then....a swelling tummy said otherwise and Cadbury became a proud mum of six boys and one girl (Bobbi Brown)Hooray!! Thats how our Chester came about he certainly is a mummy's boy, we love them both to bits
I see from Ness's website she offers puppies their own blanket to take home to help them settle in, well......Chester still has that very same blanket that he still drags around with him and he's now 3 (soppy boy!!)
If you are looking for offer a loving home to a labrador then you need look no further, I didn't and I'm the happiest maybe daftist labrador puppy owner in the world.
I love em both to bits
Thanks Ness
Love Glyn and Emma
